4/25 6 day work week and vacation..

It's been about a week or so since I "blogged" last so I figured why not tonight??? Well the last week has been crazy. Today was day 6 at work for me, and let me tell you, IT WAS A LONG WEEK!! My manager told me that he had to do that because another lady asked for today off and blah blah blah blah.. So I get to work this morning and go talk to the overnight associate and he tells me that I have 4 1/2 pallets of freight to put away!! Okay, that was not really any big deal had it been 5 am that would have given me time to put the stuff on the steel and stock the floor before the management team walks the floor at 7:30am and starts ragging on my ass about the holes! But no I was scheduled at 7am and the floor looked like crap.. Grrrr so that's how my half ass Friday went! Next, I don't even have 2 days off in a row, what kind of crap is that? I was told, "ahhh, we need you for inventory on Thursday". Oh well I have Wednesday off with Scott so that makes life a little better.
My vacation was great, I got to meet an aunt and an uncle that I have never met before, and they are wonderful people. If only I had the chance to meet then earlier in life and people were not so evil about there past, and feeling the need to hold grudges against people... I guess we can just call that greedy! I also got to see a few people that I haven't seen in ages.. NICOLE, being one of them, I think its been about 12 years since the last time I seen her.... And little miss KIMMERS, I don't think that many people call her that but I will forever she is such a little cutie pie. Scott and I stayed at the usual place in Auburn at the Days INN its nice for the most part, as long as you get a room on the back side then you get to watch the airplains fly in and out. It's not loud at all either. OR could we be used to the damn Air Force Base that we live just down the road from?
Last but not the least... Last time I was blogging, I was talking about how Scott was getting picked on at work. Well today, something came up and I think that he was completly and totally set up on this. His Dept. Manager told him to stock some carrots (he works in the Produce Dept.) so Scott started to stock these carrots and Johnny (Dept. Manager) comes up to him and asks him why he is stalking them without knowing exactly where they came from... What a bunch of crap... Scott knows that they come from California which happens to be USA right? Well, soon after all the guys were pulled to the back and told that if they don't do this properly that they would ALL be held accountable for it, and be coached... Which if Scott gets coached then he will be terminated... Oh well I guess.. We are both trying to get on with the State, better bennefits and I would make almost double what I am making right now... That would be FABTASTICLE...

Not just another day!

So today was not only my Friday but I am also on vacation... YEAH BABY... I am heading out of town on Friday early morning to Seattle. I had an okay day, I am still frustrated with yesterday and everything that happened with Scott. I just hope that he is left alone, he doesn't need to deal with crap like that.. Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions on how to make my blogs a little more noticed I would be happy to take any advice. Like I said I am NEW at this and not quite sure as to what to do.....

worker rights

So, with all the bs going on at good ol Wally World and my boyfriend. I have decided to look up some worker rights. I have found that his assistant manager has violated the law by putting his hands on him. I am totally aggravated right now. This makes me want to quit leave there for good and turn this filthy man in. OH I HATE WAL-MART!!!!!!

My day 4/14/2009

Alright, well my day started at 4am I rolled out of bed to go to work... BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAHHHH..... Anyways, I had an OKAY day today, I think that management is really messing with my work schedule lately because when I work early shifts, Scott is scheduled to work late shifts, which means that when I get off work he is just getting on so its kinda like a "hi" "bye" type situation. I think this may be wrecking our relationship because we never have any time to be together. I just wish that for once Wal-Mart would realize that people have family outside of that hell-box and give us some time off together..
Do you honestly think that they give a rip? I DON'T THINK SO.. All they can think about is "store 4394 only profited 2.8 million dollars last year, we need to get that higher" What a crock of CRAP if you ask me! PROFITED 2.8 MILLION just one store ALONE.... Give it up they are nothing more then money hungry jerks who plain out tell you that if you don't like your schedule we will find someone who wants your job.... Oh how bad I want a new job! Not to mention our Assistant manager Dennis does nothing more than pick on Scott, he never has anything positive to say to him its always rude ass bull shit. What can you expect out of an ex-military person... Anways, I am just sick and tired of working back to back shifts and feeling like I am not doing a good enough job for anyone.... CANT THEY JUST THANK US RATHER THAN RIP US A NEW ONE????? Well im done for today! Please feel free to leave your thoughts about Wal-Mart I hate that place....

Alright, so I am trying new things out on the internet seeings that I am always on here and wanted to get further out... LOL Anywas, I think the point to a blog is to what, basically talk about yourself or write down your thoughts? Well, I am not really the type of person to really talk about myself, but I will dedicate this one blog to it.
My name is Jeniece (if you didn't already notice), I live in Airway Heights Washington with my wonderful boyfriend Scott. I am 22 years old and trying to attend school, although Wal-Mart (my place of employment) does not allow me to have a "school schedule" so it makes it hard to attend school. I was told that if I want full time I am required to have an open availability and I can't have open availability to attend school. Anyways, moral to that is I hate Wal-Mart, they claim to be all about family and whatever but they like to keep you away from your family.
Something seriously just came up that makes me angry about that place. My boyfriend Scott and I have plans to go out of town this weekend and we put in for the time off back in January and he was just told 10 min ago that if he doesn't work this weekend that he is going to be coached for it. Well if he gets coached he will get fired. The Assistant manager has had 3 months of notice and is telling him at the last second... GRR I really get annoyed with that place.
